My Story
Aspect Photography is a Houston-based business specialising in architectural and real estate photography. I bring a genuine passion for the built environment, a BA in Photography with Distinction, and years of professional experience to every commission.
I came to photography through a genuine love of the built environment and a career that has always centred on precision, communication, and craft. After years working in education, I returned to a long-standing passion and committed to it fully — completing an HND and then a BA in Photography, both with Distinction, and graduating with the John Gray's Legacy Prize for exceptional work.
My experience
My professional photography career began in real estate, documenting interiors and exteriors for agents and developers across Scotland with First Photographics. That experience gave me a strong foundation in working quickly, reading light in any condition, and delivering images that genuinely help sell a space.
I relocated to Houston in 2024 and have since been building Aspect Photography as a dedicated architectural and real estate studio. I'm a FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot, a volunteer with FotoFest and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and an active member of the Houston Innerloop Photography Club. I'm based in The Heights district of Houston.
My vision
I believe the best photograph is the one that shows exactly what needs to be shown — nothing more. Every frame is edited with the same discipline as the spaces I photograph.
My technical background means I understand light, structure, and composition at a level that goes beyond instinct. I solve problems on location so the final image looks effortless.
I work closely with clients to understand the brief before I pick up a camera. Whether I'm working with a real estate agent, an architect, or a developer, the result is images that communicate — not just document.
